Better to post all your comments/remarks/suggestion on this WeB Log http://www.2009saaha.blogspot.com , to document and records all discussions/communications regarding this upcoming 2009 SA Grand Homecoming from its birth pangs! I suggest let’s use this modern type of communication using internet technology.

Should we also need voting and nomination of candidates for various committees to be formed, maybe we could tap Ms. Amor Sartillo-Amorroso and Ms. Mercy Faderogao to make an Online Web Page Voting Center for this specific purpose, if not costly. First, all participants have to be registered using their e-mail addresses & other information in order to cast their votes!!! Aaahhhhhh… sorry guys, I’m making it complicated for everyone. But, you may consider it for future application, i.e., “Online Community”, etc. Thanks,

A Fellow Alumni,I can draft the Grand Reunion Planning Guide which will also serve as house rules for everyone who will be involved in the planning and preparation for the 2009 SA Grand alumni reunion. Give me 2-3 weeks to do this. I'll post the draft later in this forum for omments and suggestions.I'm also reviewing the Ad-Hoc organizational structure as proposed for streamlining purposes. Offhand, the proposed committee structure seems to suit what we need except for some positions which we may have to merge to avoid overlapping of functions.

Anyhow, bear patience for 2-3 weeks until I come up with the reunion planning guide.

Suggestion: We should have a project (ie: like PC, generator, books, or anything that will mprove our beloved alma mater) coincide with the grand reunion. That's my two cents opinion. Hope every can give their opinion too.

Attached herewith are the table of organization for the proposed SA Alumni Grand Homecoming. I suggest that we decide now between us who will be those in the CORE COMMITTEES AND SUB-COMMITTEES.

• 2009 SAAA ADHOC CORE Committees
• 2009 SAAA ADHOC Sub-Committees
  

Please give me up to the end of September 2007 to complete the Composition and Function of Working Committees for both. Meantime, everybody can prepare there own list of functions of every committee for my consolidation by October 2007.

The AdHoc Core Committee will be composed of as follows:

1. Chairman
2. Vice-Chairman
3. Secretary
4. Treasurer
5. Auditor
6. Planning & Program
7. Administrative
8. Ways and Means

Please provide inputs, comments, ideas, etc. Siguro mas maado ay unahon nato ka pag human it homecoming rules for all of us to follow. Sio sa ato ka puedeng mag hudot it kali ag humanon ka mga rules nak dapat natong sunron ag igalang adong maiiwasan ka mga buko dapat.

PS: I am now retired from Saudi Electricity Company, however i will still stay here in Saudi to work for another Company. I have already plan to take my vacation in March-April 2009 which is also Balik Molo spearheaded by Ramon Famarin and perhaps the 2nd Jorge Famarin & Irenea Fabunan Family Reunion in Bidoos spearheaded by Jose Faigmani.

Can somebody post an update on the preparations for the 2009 Sibale Academy grand alumni reunion? The date is fast approaching and it seems preparation has been in standstill. Baka ma half-bake ang plano natin.I suggest that we start working what should be done ASAP.
